January

I just looked at January's calendar and there wasn't much on it.  January was a pretty quiet month.  But that's O.K.  Everyone needs a quiet month now and then.  We started the year off with the Rose Bowl game.  And, later in the month we headed up to the mountain for some sledding.

ROSE BOWL

My two favorite Oregon Duck fans.  And apparently, they think they are interior decorators.  Just wait till you see what they did to my living room....

Here's the television.  (That was my idea to pause the TV screen for the picture).  Those are Curtis' and Erik's ball caps.  There's an angel on the top right of the TV cabinet... it has an Oregon beanie on.  And, there's those pom poms that we seem to have an endless supply of (as soon as I get rid of some Erik comes home from a game with more!).

Yes, those are jerseys hung up on bungee cords in my living room.  Nice.  And, how many jerseys do you need?  These aren't even all the jerseys that the boys have... Curtis was wearing one too.

The entire scene:

Here's my favorite Oregon Duck decorations:
This one is a snowman cheerleader... how cute is that?
These guys are super cute too.  Erika got them for us even though her Beaver Believing husband was against it.

SLEDDING
We get very little snow here in the valley so we headed up to the mountain for some sledding.  Usually, we start seeing snow around Detroit but there was none to be seen.  We started getting a little worried that maybe there wasn't going to be any snow.  Fortunately, Santiam Pass had plenty of snow for sledding.

So, that's about all the pictures I have for January.

In other news, I started my second term of the ED program at WOU.  I am in a fifth grade classroom 2 1/2 days a week.  I'm looking forward to the last week of February when I'll be in the classroom for the whole week.  During that week I'll be teaching three lessons on magnetism.  Should be fun.
